Terms of Service

Mudi provides operational, source-linked guidance to help software product teams understand whether certain EU product rules (starting with the Cyber Resilience Act) may apply and what operational deadlines and tasks often follow. Mudi is a software tool and information service — not a law firm, notified body, or substitute for qualified legal counsel.

Content, wizard results, checklists, timers, templates, and documentation are informational only. They may be incomplete, out of date relative to new guidance, or inapplicable to your facts. You remain solely responsible for compliance decisions, classifications, filings, and product design choices. For high-stakes determinations, use counsel or other qualified professionals.

• Provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure.
• Use the service only for lawful business purposes.
• Do not probe, disrupt, reverse engineer (except where mandatory law allows), scrape at abusive volume, or misuse the service to harm others.
• Do not upload unlawful content or data you do not have rights to process in the service.

Free features (such as the no-login CRA applicability path) and paid workspace features may change as the product evolves. Paid plans are billed according to the price and interval shown at purchase. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions renew until cancelled. Fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly offered by us.

Mudi, including software, branding, and original content, is owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide and improve the service.

The product may link to official regulation texts, guidance, payment processors, identity providers, or other third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services we do not control.

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mudi is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that results will meet legal or commercial requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mudi and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty US dollars (USD $50), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

You will defend and indemnify Mudi against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk, or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitations, and indemnity) will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer or local law requires otherwise. Courts in the Netherlands have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have.
